Effective Electronic Records Management in 21st Century Government – Emerging Electronic Records (Part 2)

Introduction

The "Effective Electronic Records Management in 21st Century Government" project was undertaken as part of the Chair in e-Government's research programme, which intends to produce research of relevance to government agencies and the IT industry.

This research project follows up on previous research into how public servants within New Zealand public service departments identify and manage emails of significant and long-term value.

This project will extend the research focus to other emerging records, such as SMS messages, instant messaging, video, and wikis.

Additional project details are available.
